“I joined the Board of Legal Aid to give back to the community and to be part of a positive program that helps embrace diversity.
As a child who grew up in a migrant workers home I understand the struggles of a low income, Hispanic household. I have had to work hard to be a successful leader at my workplace and in life. I have good communication skills, people skills and I have great problem-solving abilities, not to mention I’m bilingual.
I was part of the Kelso and Longview soccer association for several years before becoming a Team manager for the Cowlitz Timber Barons soccer team, I donated my time with that for over 6 years. I helped the organization and families with registration, fund raising, carpooling, practices and games.
I not only live in the community, but I have assisted translation for families that needed help with medical and dental appointments, parent teacher conferences, I have assisted local families with motor vehicle licensing, registrations including marriage certificates.
I am currently a Production Manager at Foster Farms. “
